FRIENDS OF CULVER CITY ANIMALS
Friends of Culver City Animals (FCCA) is
a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters who joined together in
response to the need in Culver City, California, for a city-based animal
care program that includes a local Animal Services Officer and a more
conveniently located animal shelter.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – NEW CULVER CITY ANIMAL SERVICES OFFICER
As of July 1, 2009, Culver City residents can contact our own local Animal Services Officer for all animal related problems and investigations. Our Animal Services Officer is on duty Monday - Thursday, 10am-8pm. During the off service hours, Los Angeles County Animal Care & Control will be covering calls-for-service. Residents should call the police department at 310-837-1221 for routine matters. Emergency calls to 911 should be used with discretion. Further information can be found on the Culver City website
IMPORTANT NOTICE - NEW CULVER CITY SHELTER
As of January 5, 2009, Culver City is contracting with SPCA-LA for ALL animal sheltering services – pets, wildlife, all live healthy and injured animals, adoptions, lost and found animals, dead animals and more. NO CULVER CITY ANIMAL IS TO BE TAKEN TO THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FACILITY IN CARSON.

Telephone messages can be left 24/7 and are returned as quickly as possible.
Exception: A critically injured animal will be taken first to the City-appointed EMERGENCY VET CLINIC: City of Angels, 9599 Jefferson Boulevard, Culver City 90232, Telephone: (310) 558-6100, open 24/7. As soon as the animal is stabilized, it will be transported to the SPCA-LA shelter in Hawthorne.
PET LICENSING
Culver City has its own dog-licensing program. Cat licensing is optional.

and health of all Culver City residents and animals.
• Seeks a more conveniently located animal shelter.
• Guides owners towards responsible pet ownership.
• Provides educational materials and guest speakers for organizations and
